Who I amMy name is Nicola Nicholson, I am a local lady to East Lothian having been brought up in Gullane as a child. I later moved back here & have been in Longniddry 10yrs then in 2022 moved to Prestonpans.
I have had dogs including rescue for over 32 years which entailed raising them from puppy as well as adult. My rescue Whippet X above is called Luey, he's around 12yrs+, he is definitely one of the 40 mile per hour couch potatoes a typical Sighthound! We also acquired a black Labrador puppy at 8wks called Tilly who is now 10yrs. She & Luey love playing pretty wild together when they're not busy eating & sleeping ! I have walked many different breeds of dogs previously & currently of which includes St Bernard, Labrador, Springer Spaniel, Retriever, Pomeranian, Pug, Bedlington X, Working Cocker, Collie, Poodle, Staffie, Lurcher, Boxer, JRT, Basset Hound & Chihuaha, Frenchie, Schnauzer to name some. I tend to walk dogs in small groups of two's or four's, depending on size & temperament. I also provide day care for regular walked dogs. I love dogs in all shapes and sizes and that is why it makes sense to walk dogs rather than going back to work in an office which I have done for many years. I am an 'older' mother married to my lovely hubby, we have a 16year old son and we love East Lothian's coast which is fantastic for the many beach walks we do as well as wooded walks. |
I am an East Lothian Council Approved Dog Walker (No.44)
